Y13 - Shane Meadows - links to his website. He is an independent film maker who makes low budget, low revenue films but they are excellent. The website has links to many interviews and clips of his films. Click on Extras and read the transcript from the Brief Encounter Film Festival. He says some interesting things about how having a bigger budget and well known actors compromised his creativity.
